This is my second rosary from these folks, and I'm just as happy with this one as the first.

Each rosary has a different character, and it goes beyond just the color and the difference in medals and crucifixes. The stones themselves have a different character.

For example, the Sacred Heart rosary, the green beads have an earthy and materially different quality to them when you hold them. They're polished and smooth, but they're not shiny or glossy.

Whereas this one, the beads are polished and shiny and it gives them a more reflective kind of quality to them that is difficult to describe. They almost shimmer, while the other rosary they're more muted. And they're both brilliant in their own ways.

The Defender of the Faith Rosary is well made. The beads are significantly duller than the website photograph. Virtually no yellow or white/light colored beads. The larger beads were mostly dark colored with faint yellow markings.

Because each Defender of the Faith rosary is handcrafted using natural stone beads, every piece will feature unique variation in color, pattern, and distribution. Some rosaries may contain more prominent lighter tones and contrast, while others may lean darker and more subdued depending on the natural characteristics of the stones selected.

Natural stone can also appear differently depending on lighting conditions, with brighter natural light often bringing out additional depth, contrast, and color variation within the beads.
